Laser Beam Optical Trapping of a Nanoparticle

"Laser Beam Optical Trapping of a Nanoparticle," is a published research project that aimed to determine the viability of using a Modular Optical Trapping Kit for the purposes of mechanical, electrical and programming research and teaching. For this project, I completed the mechanical setup and calibration of the kit, developed and implemented the electrical schematics and created a GUI to control the system and analyze output data. Findings were presented at two research symposiums.
